Witness Bands – Share the Gospel!

What you need…

• Wool/Leather Strip/String/Elastic
• Coloured Beads (or similar)
• See the You Can Change The World page for what the coloured beads mean

Method…

• Take a piece of sting (or similar) and wrap it round your wrist
• When you know how long your wrist is, add 4 to 5com extra for fastening the ends together and cut
• Tie a small knot a few centimeters left of the middle
• Thread the beads on, using the colours below
• Tie another knot a few centimeters right of the middle, to hold the beads in place
• Get someone to tie it to your wrist and BOSH, you are ready to rock!
• You could also make this as a necklace or ankle band.

Top Tip: If you don’t have beads, you could make your own out of clay, femo, dried peas or whatever you like! Just colour or paint them to match the design!

Prayer Pots – Keep you prayers safe and see God at work!

What you need…

• A jar/bottle/pot/tin
• Card/paper
• Colouring pens/pencils/shiny things
• Tape

Method…

• Make sure the jar is clean and dry
• Wrap the car or paper around the jar, covering it all the way round (so you cant see whats inside)
• Decorate it with colour, words, Bible verses or whatever
• Make a slit in the lid/top (if needed) to slide prayers inside (you will need to get inside the jar later)
• Put somewhere safe!

Use It…

• When you have something to pray about, write it on a slip of paper and pop it in the jar
• Keep praying about it
• After a few months you can open the jar up and read your old prayers again
• You will be able to see how God has answered you prayers, and what you need to think about or pray more for!

What you need…

• Some Card
• Colouring pens or pencils or paint
• A writing pen

Method…

• On the card, draw round a wallet size card or use the template here (click to make it full size)
• Divide it into 6 sections
• Colour each one to match the colours on the ‘You Can Change The World’ page
• Write on each coloured section what they mean and the Bible Verse
• You could even write the whole Bible verse in each section
• Put in your wallet, purse, bag or whatever and use it when you need it!

Wooden Cross – Just like Jesus Had!

What you need…

• Sticks/Twigs/Branches/Wood
• String/wool
• Something to cut the wood with

Method…

• Cut or snap the wood to the right length (one a bit longer than the other)
• With the string or wall, tie one stick to the other, making a cross

Top Top: You can make a base for the cross out of more plasticine, clay, blue-tac, card or more wood!

Use It…

• You could put it on display in the house or even give it to someone as a gift!
• If you put it in your room, you could focus on it when you pray or worship at home!

Prayer Dice – Keep on Pray’in!

What you need…

• Card or paper
• Coloured pens or pencils
• Tape or glue

Method…

• Print out the design on the right (click to make it full size)
• Write on each panel a different person, place or mission activity
• Make it look wonderful, then cut out
• Fold and stick together

Top Tip: Use a ruler to fold all the edges and flaps before sticking together!

Use It…

• When you don;t know what to prayer for, roll the dice and prayer about whatever side it lands on!

Top Tip: You can make all sorts of prayer dice this way – try making them with different prayer themes, or maybe one with ‘Graces’ on to help you choose your meal time grace or song!

You could even try making one in a different shape!
